Dear Dr. Rebello,
Thank you for your letter regarding the International AIDS Conference, and your suggestion to include a greater focus on alternative medicine in AIDS. I encourage you to visit the IAS Future Directions webpage (www.iasociety.org/futuredirections/ ), to continue to provide input, and to regularly check the Toronto website (www.aids2006.org ) for updates.
Your thoughts and ideas will be considered by the programme committees responsible for planning the conference.
Kind regards,
Craig McClure

Subject: Re: Please Join AIDS Advocates' Call For Changes to Int'l AIDS Conferences
Dear Mr. Terri Ford and Dr. Helene Gayle:
I support the following changes, many of which, as you know, I too have been agitating for.
You have missed one more suggestion deliberately or otherwise.
Alternative Medicine in AIDS (including Alternative AIDS Vaccines / Counseling / Approaches)
should be included in the main session. As President of AIDS Alternativa, it will be my pleasure
to present a vision statement on the subject during the inauguration of next AIDS Conference in Canada.
Also there has to be a shift in the HIV=AIDS=ARTs paradigm and the focus should be From AIDS Scare to AIDS Care.
Many of you know me well for my honest and frank opinions on this issue.
Terri would also remember my refusal to join in the HDN because of the faulty official stand onnb HIV=AIDS=ARTs. Now that changes are taking place, I do NOT mind joining HDN because
Cooperation rather than Confrontation is my byword since we are dedicated in the cause
and welfare of AIDS patients.
Best Regards

Subject: From Alive and Well Mexico
Dear Dr. Rebello: I just visited your website and I was deeply moved. Dr. Roberto Giraldo had mentioned to us that there were great things happening in India; you are responsible for that.
You may be right; we might reach the day when vegetables and fruits are only going to be available through a doctor's prescription. In our state of Veracruz, Mexico we are right now feeling the economical and nutritional devastation that NAFTA (and ourselves) has brought upon us. People just don't realize how political medicine is. As in India, in Mexico we are the victims of a new period of colonization, this time around being directed by the multinational pharmaceutical drug cartels (like GLAXO are criminal).
It might sound naive, but we believe in the wisdom of the patient. In Mexico we also have an incredible tradition of natural medicine that has been proven to be effective throughout millennia.
I also liked a lot the fact that you make the link between peace and health. There is no other way around it. Health is a spiritual matter. How can we be healthy in a world economy administered with the logic of war and pure economic profit?
Personally I never liked the writings of Chopra. I see him as a medical guru who has been successfully marketed to reach the European and American audiences. True science is not possible if your main concerns are fame and money. One of the empty seats in that conference in India would have been mine. Beautiful arguments are sometimes empty and false. The path to truth is a very difficult one; I can even almost affirm that if you are speaking the truth you are going to have an enormous amount of detractors. I'm not talking about religion, but about medicine... Maybe I'm talking about both.
The warmest regards
Alex Flores

Dear Dr. Rebello. Nice to have you back and happy that you could do such useful work in Thailand.
Your observations in regard to the war in progress, the SARS scare and the need for world institutions
to replace the UNO are, as usual, excellent. The anti-war movement across the globe needs to be
harnessed for prosecuting noble causes transcending artificial barriers of religion, race and nation.
People like you should act as a co-ordinator or convenor.
S.M. Daud.

Dear Dr. Leo,
I am greatly moved & feel inspired at the same time after reading Nisha's
story. She indeed is a remarkable girl under the dynamic guidance of
renowned doctor like you. Had it not been the help & guidance of remarkable
people like you, her story would have been totally different.
Frankly speaking, after going through her medical histories, there is
nothing much we can do.
With best wishes,
Dr. DORJEE RAPTEN NESHAR

I see that you are practicing what you are preaching. Also I myself do not have
a mobile phone or a microwave oven, and we, too, have been living without a TV
for more than 20 years without suffering, although some conveniences such as
fridge and washing machine are accepted.

Dear Josef :
Thanks for this solid report. As is my habit, I shall circulate it widely.
For your information, I do not have the following in my home :
1.. Mobile phone.
2.. Microwave oven.
3.. Refrigerator.
4.. Any chemical or artificial filtering apparatus for purifying drinking water.
5.. Washing machine.
And hold your breath
6.. We threw out the colour Television (rather gifted it to our watchman)
about 8 years ago and now no one is missing it!

Dear Dr. Rebello:
Thank you for this and may God continue to empower you, your wonderful wife and entire household.
Soon we will meet face to face and this gratefulness will be expressed directly. Your transparent and
impartial plan for humanity will remain indelible. This is why my father lasted for 117 years.

From USA - Dr. Carol Roberts' letter to Kennedy Foundation, dated April 15, 2002. In a world dominated by the pharmaceutical industry, courage is needed to stand up and speak the truth.
Drug therapy is not the only answer, it has instead become a tyrannical obstacle to natural methods,
and dominates the thinking of physicians and patients alike. The current crises in health around the
world will not respond to mountains of synthetic drugs. The answers lie within the deep wisdom of the body
and its desire to heal.
Dr. Rebello speaks for those who have no access to pharmaceutical drugs,
those who have no hope of cure through conventional means, and those who continue to suffer through
ignorance of simple, natural methods of healing. In the current climate, this takes true courage and dedication.
